Featuring Alan Ritchson in the leading role of the fan-adored character Jack Reacher, Prime Video is all set to drop Reacher Season 3. The TV series debuted in 2022 and soon became one of the year's biggest hits.
Now, after two triumphant seasons filled with action and intrigue, Ritchson has reprised his iconic role for the third time. The TV series doesn't follow the chronological order of Lee Child's books. So Reacher Season 3 will follow the events of Persuader.
When asked to shed light on the successful TV adaptation of his books, Lee Child said in an interview (via Lifestyle Asia):
"This is a huge show with hundreds and hundreds of people working on it. But at heart, they’re fans of the books. They’re doing it because they love the books, so their natural inclination is to do it right and do it very faithfully."
The acclaimed author added:
"They don’t want to deviate. They want to get as much of the book onto the screen as they can because that’s why they’re there."
Lee Child lauded the team behind the Prime Video TV series and explained that they aren't just making a TV show, but honoring his book series as well.
