“Quick to make judgment-“ Love & Marriage: Huntsville star Sunni reacts to the claim of not following the “girl code” 

Love & Marriage: Huntsville Season 9 finale episode has already aired as the cast members reunited one last time before the season concluded. This season's cast includes Kimmi Grant, LaTisha Scott, Marsau Scott, Maurice Scott, Melody Holt, Martell Holt, Destiny Payton, and Sunni.

During the Reunion: Part 2 which was released on February 8, 2025, Sunni clarified her situation involving her marriage as well as responded to Destiny's claims. As fans already know, Sunni is married to Moses who is Destiny's ex. The Love & Marriage: Huntsville star claimed that she got into a relationship with Moses after he had already broken up with Destiny, she continued:

"You know, people always quick to make judgment on a situation without knowing the full details. Like you just spoke and said that I slept with her man, that was no longer her man. That's an ex-boyfriend or on-again, off-again thing whatever. "

Love & Marriage: Huntsville Season 9 episode 15 titled Tricia Finally Tells the Truth was released exclusively on OWN TV on February 8, 2025. The episode synopsis mentions:

"Kimmi and Melody argue over Melody's double standards; Sunni joins the cast on stage to hash out her issues with Destiny; Ken and Tricia set the record straight about her history with Martell."

Love & Marriage: Huntsville star Sunni clarifies the misunderstanding about her relationship

On Love & Marriage: Huntsville reunion, the show host brought up Sunni's husband who is Destiny's ex. He stated that there were cast members who felt like Sunni broke the "girl code." Asking her take on the situation, the host questioned how Sunni would respond to those people who believed she shouldn't "even be on the stage." He asked::

"There's a lot of people who do feel like you crossed a line. A lot of people feel like you did the ultimate no-no, you don't know what a girl code is. What do you have to say to people who feel like you should not be even be on the stage."

The Love & Marriage: Huntsville cast member stated that if she was Destiny's friend and dated Destiny's ex, then it would be a completely different situation. However, the way the entire circumstance was being interpreted was wrong according to Sunni. She clarified that she and Density met through work and had a "working relationship" and that she started dating Destiny's ex after they had broken up. Sunni mentioned:

"You know, Destiny and I met through work. It would have been different if I was just her friend and I'm around for those reasons and now I'm all of a sudden dating her ex."

Sunni continued saying that she and Moses had no interaction when he was dating Destiny. Then, Destiny chimed in on the conversation stating she was not given a heads-up or was informed that Moses and Sunni were in a serious relationship. She was shocked to find out that they got married within six months of dating.

The Love & Marriage: Huntsville felt it wasn't her place to talk to Destiny about this but rather Moses' responsibility to let Destiny know about his current relationship. The upcoming Reunion: Part 3 might focus on Moses' point of view regarding the situation.
