Recently, on his official Instagram account, Kevin talked about how he keeps his personal life away from public life. He shared that having an audience online and a strong network comes with its drawbacks; however, he is satisfied with the lines between his personal and professional life blurring. The Shark Tank investor said,

"It's pretty hard to keep them separate. People say they try, but it's not that easy. Sometimes it's bad, but overall it's great to have friends."

The April 19, 2025, Instagram reel caption states that social media follows Kevin; however, he doesn't have an issue with it. The caption continues:

"Short answer? No. Social media follows me, I follow it. I engage, I listen, and yes, sometimes it’s annoying—but overall, it’s great. The lines are blurred, and I’m fine with that."

Kevin shared that he likes communicating and connecting with his network through social media platforms. Despite the lines getting blurred between the two different aspects of his life, Kevin appreciates having an online presence where he can listen to other people's feedback and build a community. He said:

"How do I keep my personal life separate from my public life? particularly now with social media. The answer is I don't, I can't. I follow my life on social media, it follows me, and I'm happy to communicate with people on my own network. It's great and I listen to their feedback."

In another clip, the Shark Tank investor Kevin O'Leary shared that a successful personal life is linked to an individual's relationship with their partner and family. According to Kevin, it is important to spend quality time with your significant other. He said:

"You need that balance. So invest some time in making sure your significant other is happy, even though you may not spend that much time with them because you're so busy on pursuing your dream. You can't get there unless you have happiness. It's tough to get, but worth maintaining."

Kevin continued further elaborating how "work suffers" if "personal life is a disaster." He mentioned:
