Shark Tank mentor Jamie Kern Lima discussed "power" that is greater than ourselves with Oprah Winfrey in her podcast episode aired on July 2, 2024. It was titled Oprah's Life-Changing Lessons: Hear Your Intuition, Find Purpose & Live Your Best Life Now! Part 2.

Talking about Oprah's "intuition," and her understanding of God, the Shark Tank mentor asked her:

"Now in your life, do you feel like you hear your into, like do you feel like God talks you through your intuition? And do you feel like that's what was happening? The power greater than yourself comes through in your intuition."

Responding to Jamie Kern Lima's question about the power greater than ourselves that comes through intuition, Oprah stated that God speaks through "intuition." However, for that to work, one needs to be "quiet enough."

"I think God speaks to your intuition if you're quiet enough to know your intuition from your head. If you're, if you are discerning enough to separate the thoughts from the feeling of, because when God speaks, it's actually calm. It's not rushed, it's not worried, it's not bothered. It is a distinct calmness that you feel, for me, I feel it more than I hear it."

The guest added that sometimes, when things are "really bad" she would hear it. She stated she could hear "don't do that." Oprah stated that it sometimes "literally" woke her up at night.

Asking more about "intuition" how people sometimes are unable to figure it out, and how they get a "knowing" but feel doubt for the same, Jamie asked Oprah to share more about "how to hear intuition."

Oprah opened up to the Shark Tank investor and stated that the "greatest gift" that anyone can give themselves is when they start "leaning" into that feeling. She talked about how the world would "drown out" the voice of God.

"God is trying to, the universal force of life is always speaking and breathing through you. And so you have to get still enough, removed enough, disconnected enough from the world to actually know what you are feeling," shared Oprah.

In a discussion with Oprah Winfrey, Jamie asked about her childhood and how her understanding of God was, during that age.

"When you were four years old, you just shared hearing your grandma say that to you and you had that knowing. Was that from, did you believe at the time? Did you feel that was from God? Do you feel that now?" asked Jamie.

Answering the Shark Tank mentor's question, guest, Oprah mentioned that as she was merely four years old, she didn't know to call it "God." She stated that for her, at that age, both God and Santa Claus were almost similar. The only difference was that:

"Only God had more power. God could do more things. God could punish you Santa Claus couldn't. He just didn't bring you presents. But they were all really in the kind of same. God was up there, Santa Claus was up there, out there at the North Pole some where."

She then talked about how everyone, since their childhood has a certain image of God and Jesus in their mind. The one that has a "long white beard" as seen in churches mostly.
