"Perfect for me": Love is Blind: Germany star Ilias and Alina become the only couple to get married on the show

Love is Blind: Germany Finale aired on Netflix on January 17, 2025. The ninth episode of the reality show featured wedding ceremonies between Ilias-Alina, Daniel-Hanni, and Medina-Sally.

However, only Ilias and Alina went ahead with the entire wedding ceremony and shared their "I dos." The rest of the two couples didn't get married on Love is Blind: Germany.

While sharing their vows at the altar, Ilias expressed his feelings for Alina:

"Dear Alina, I wanted to choose my words wisely so that they're what we promised we'd be from the very first day, honest. And in all honesty, things haven't always been so easy with me. You pretty quickly got to know my stubbornness, my anxiety, but above all my overthinking and my insecure side.

He continued:

"As you know, I wasted a lot of time trying to find a fault, or rather, the catch about you, simply because my time with you was far too good to be true. I just couldn't accept that you could possibly offer everything that I would wish for from my future wife. In my mind, there are no perfect couple. But you are. Maybe not perfect, but perfect for me."

Love is Blind: Germany Finale: Ilias and Alina's wedding vows

When the wedding officiant asked the bride and groom to share their vows, Alina went first:

"Dear Ilias, if someone had told us only two months ago that we would be standing here at this altar today, I would probably have laughed. I'd never have thought that I'd find my perfect match here. This journey has been a lot of things, intense, magical and just crazy."

She continued:

"But I think sometimes you just have to be brave and dare to do things because something very beautiful is waiting for you. Whatever happens, I promise I'll always 100% have your back and be there for you. I'm thankful that I feel I can truly be myself when I'm with you."

Listening to the beautiful words and feelings shared by Alina, Ilias teased that he hoped his vows were "as good as hers."

The joy could be seen in both of them, as they could not stop smiling at each other. After their wedding ceremony was over, and as Ilias and Alina became husband and wife, they mentioned that it felt "really crazy."
