Peacock's Mr. Throwback is a unique mockumentary. The show's primary theme revolves around the NBA legend, Stephen Curry and Adam Pally's interaction with several throwbacks of their lives.

Mr. Throwback is Peacock's newest creation and is quickly rising in popularity due to its captivating yet humorous storyline. The series is centered around Danny Grossman [Adam Pally] creating a documentary with his friend Stephen Curry to escape the consequences of debt.

Grossman is a struggling father who is neck-deep in money problems because of loan sharks. With almost no escape, he recalls his friendship with his old basketball mate, Curry, and decides to reconnect with him. Shortly after the duo reconnects, Grossman intends to meet him.

To begin with, the duo teamed up with their third musketeer, Kimberly who was in charge of creating the documentary.

Although Kimberly and Grossman used to be close, her career and his life stopped them from maintaining a close bond. This experience however wouldn't be easy as it would involve a lot of hard work. Grossman would have to figure out how to balance his personal life, film a documentary, and keep the loan sharks at bay.
