Shark Tank investor Robert Herjavec recently attended The School of Greatness podcast. The podcast aired on February 5, 2025. They talked about how Robert was an immigrant and his story of becoming one of the most successful tech entrepreneurs.

While talking about dreams and vision boards, Shark Tank mentor revealed his "vision board dream" from when he was in his 20s.

"I never thought I'd end up like I am now, but even when I was poor, I never thought I'd stay there. It's just that the scope of my dreams wasn't big enough. My dream in my 20s was to make a $1000 for my age. So when I'm 50, to make 50 grand, to buy a house and pay it off in my lifetime, and to buy a Corvette. That was my dream. That was my...like, that was the that was my vision board dream."

Robert Herjavec's appearance on The School of Greatness podcast episode Shark Tank Host: My Parents & I Escaped Communism With $20! THIS Unlocked Wealth for Me! premiered on February 5, 2025. The Shark Tank investor shared his dream and how he wanted to buy a house and a car.

During the podcast episode, when the host, Lewis Howes, asked Robert how he began to expand his mind to "shatter that limit," he replied that he was "super curious."

Responding to the question, the Shark Tank mentor shared how he bought his first Ferrari and what happened afterward.

"So you know, when I bought a used Ferrari and I moved into my house, I was so proud of it. It was a 1986 Ferrari Testarossa and it was used and there weren't that much money at the time. And I brought it over to my garage, and I put it in, and this was my superficial stage."

After purchasing the used Ferrari and keeping it in his garage, Robert saw his neighbor, Richard. He mentioned that he was still his friend. After seeing his neighbor, Robert invited him over to share the news about his Ferrari purchase.

"So I go over, and I'm like, "Hey! um blah blah blah. See my Ferrari." So he comes over. Open the garage, and I'm so proud of it. I've never been arrogant like...like...let me show you why I'm better. I was just so happy. So I show him my Ferrari, and he's like, "Oh my gosh, this. That's amazing." I love that year."

Soon, Richard invited Robert to his garage, and when he opened the garage door, Robert saw two Porches. Witnessing those two luxury cars, the Shark Tank mentor stated there are "those moments" when something happens.

He stated that, during such moments, "you're ready to learn." However, sometimes you don't know what you need to learn. Soon, "something comes," and those "two things fit," and it's an "aha moment."

Returning to two Porches, the Shark Tank mentor said he still remembers it clearly. He thought he worked "his a*s off to buy a "used Ferrari," and it took everything he knew to get that car. He couldn't "fathom" how his neighbor had two Porches.

Later on, when he returned to his home, he thought there was something he needed to improve. Because, as Robert thought, the road he was going was "never going to get him there."

He recalled how "every piece of knowledge," hard work, and discipline got him "one Ferrari."
