Paradise episode 5 will premiere on Hulu on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, 12 am ET / 3 am PT. Outside the US, the episode will be available to stream on Disney+ on the same day. After next week’s release, only three more episodes will be left in the pipeline as the show features a total of eight episodes.

What to expect from Paradise episode 5?

The upcoming episode is titled In the Palaces of Crowned Kings. It will likely build up on the previous episode’s cliffhanger ending, where Billy Pace was killed by his girlfriend.

Before dying, Billy faced off against Sinatra, who will be going to great extents to make sure that the secret about the outside world does not come out. Meanwhile, Xavier will continue his investigation into Cal’s murder, and will also have to cope with his fellow agent’s death.

What happened in the previous episode of Paradise?

Paradise episode 4, Agent Billy Pace, confirmed that while Billy Pace was a ruthless assassin, he did kill President Cal Bradford. The episode explored Billy’s past, showing how his childhood was filled with violence.

His abusive uncle grilled him to be tough. When his uncle forced him to shoot his dog, Billy instead decided to shoot his uncle. That act landed Billy in juvenile detention, where he was later recruited into a mercenary group that turned him into a deadly assassin.

In the present, Billy’s strange behavior caught Xavier’s attention. His concerns grew when he saw Billy talking secretly with Robinson and Sinatra, though he could not figure out what they were discussing. Meanwhile, tensions rose at the town’s annual carnival.

Xavier cornered Billy and asked him if he had killed President Cal. Billy swore he had not murdered the president, but admitted to taking part in other secret missions, including eliminating an explorer team that had discovered the outside surface was still livable.

Billy then stormed into Sinatra’s office and accused her of manipulating him. She confirmed that the only reason he had been kept alive after the apocalypse was because of his lethal skills. Billy told her to leave Xavier and his family alone.

That night, Billy spent time with Xavier’s kids and told Xavier they would talk tomorrow. When he got home, his girlfriend, Jane, prepared a drink for him. But as soon as he drank it, he started choking. Jane watched over as he collapsed, revealing she was an ally of Sinatra.
