Outlander Season 7 Episode 11 Recap: Ian's confession, Roger's speculations, William's truth and more

Outlander Season 7 Episode 11 brought a sea of twists and turns in the lives of Jamie and Claire. Calling back to Season 1, Claire once again marries to save herself from the Red Coats, but this time to Lord John Grey.

But while she marries John, she cannot stop thinking about Jamie and considers suicide. But she stops at the last moment and instead drinks her sorrows away. Elsewhere, John also drinks away his sorrows while mourning Jamie.

While John couldn't take a wailing Claire anymore, he decided to join her in mourning, and the two engaged in a violent and somewhat sensual weep fest.

Their mourning session transpires into an awkward pillow talk in the morning, and the two bond over their shared love for Jamie in Outlander. Here is a recap of Season 7 Episode 11.

Ian confesses about his marriage with Emily to Rachel in Outlander Season 7 Episode 11

Grappling with his father and uncle Jamie's death, Ian says a prayer for their souls with Rachel and Rollo by his side. He takes comfort in the fact that Jamie is giving company to his father in heaven. While Rachel supports him, Ian thinks letting her in on his past life before starting a new one is necessary.

He then confesses about his marriage to the Mohawk woman Emily and how he was asked to leave her and the community when he could not give her children (leading to two miscarriages).

While she is not thrilled to learn that Emily is still alive and has a child, which Ian knows is his, she still accepts Ian's past and confesses her love for him. The two share a moment, and Ian decides to leave with her to Valley Forge.


Roger continues his search for Jemmy in Outlander Season 7 Episode 11. But is Jemmy really in the past?

Roger and Buck continue their search for Jemmy in the past. Roger increasingly speculates that finding his father's traces is related to Jem's disappearance. He follows an RAF jacket to find any trace of his father but is met with no result.

While the mystery behind his ending up at the wrong time continues in Outlander, Brianna is greeted by a guest in 1980, Lallybroch, who is Rob Cameron. He never took Jem through the stones, and the scarf was set up to send Roger away.

He threatens Brianna to convince Jem to tell him the location of the hidden Gold. He suggests they all fly to America, find the Gold, and then go their separate ways. Brianna takes advantage of the moment and knocks him out with a pot.


Is Jamie alive in Outlander Season 7 Episode 11? William learns the truth about himself

While Claire seems to be getting along in her new life, Jamie shows up alive in the final moments of Outlander Episode 11, revealing that it was a manifest error and he never boarded the ship in the first place.

While the couple is happily reunited again, John Grey breaks up this reunion and advises Jamie to leave as his son William could be home anytime.

And lo and behold, William was already home and overheard John calling him Jamie's son. He discovered that Jamie was his actual father and asked everyone why they had hidden this truth from him.
