Recap of Outer Banks Season 4 Part 1
Audiences see season 4, part 1 begin by recapping events leading to the moment it begins. Part 1 shows that the Pogues in Poguelandia 2.0 are running a bait, tackle, and tour shop, which is making them a lot of money.
By the end of Part 1, except for Kiara and JJ, the rest of the group leaves for Charleston, searching for the blue crown. Little do they know, Dalia and Lightner are also heading there.
Lightener and Dalia steal a hidden scroll from the catacombs as Pope and Sarah reach. Lightener and Dalia escape while Pope and Sarah are stuck underground as a storm floods the crypt they are stuck in.
Cleo and John fail in their attempts to stop the bad guys. As John B tries to shoot Lightner, he gets flashbacks of his father killing Singh's men. In OBX, JJ meets Luke, his estranged father, while trying to find out what 'albatross' means. He finds out that Larissa Genrette is his real mother and Chandler Goff is his real father. This makes Wes his grandfather, and JJ realizes he is a Kook.
The end of episode 5 reveals that JJ's supposed father, backed by Rafe Cameron, is working with a realtor in an attempt to purchase Genrette Land.
