One of The Challenge 40 winners, Jenny West, appeared on the Johnny Bananas podcast on January 10, 2025. Fans recently witnessed how Jenny, along with Rachel Robinson and Jordan Wiseley, won the competition show.
Later on the podcast, while talking about "swimming," which has been one of the vital parts of the competition, Johnny Bananas asked Jenny:
"That's the other thing Jenny. You're like, you're literally out-swimming everyone except for f*cking Jordan and we're like, how often do you swim? You're like...I haven't swim...I used to swim as a kid. My mom had us do a swimming lesson when we were kids. Is that, I mean, that's where you developed your swimming abilities?"
The Challenge 40 stars Johnny Bananas and Jenny West discuss her "swimming" abilities and more
On his January 10, 2025 podcast episode, Johnny Bananas talked about how security personnel on The Challenge 40 "watch" their every move, he was "shoveling" pasta and "drinking" the spaghetti sauce. Jenny also recalled how she had eaten "out of a bin" when she was not successful.
They talked about Johnny's boat, which was given a "rusty" look, and Jenny's hair, which he referred to as "beaver tail":
"Is that why you were swimming so far, coz you had a beaver tail?" asked Johnny Bananas.
The Challenge 40 winner, Jenny, mentioned it was a "flap," and that was the "secret" behind swimming so well. He asked her about how she "literally out-swimming" everyone except Jordan.
Jenny answered:
"I don't know why I could swim that well. I mean, I can swim, like cool. But I feel like I got better at it the more I did it as...well, it's like my muscles were like, "Okay, this is the demand's there. We need to meet, let's just do better," kind of thing. I don't know. I'll ask them."
She then imitated talking to her muscles, and they both laughed about it.
"But I think the last time I swam was in Thailand, Season 34. Oh well, if you count Prague, but that was more like being dropped into freezing cold water," said Jenny.
Listening to Jenny, the podcast host mentioned how most people have to "train" on a "regular basis" to be "half as good as" Jenny at swimming.
While on the other hand, The Challenge 40 winner mentioned how she:
"Just got out there, and just did it."
Jenny then gave an example of how a mother protects her child with reflex:
"I mean, I feel like it's like when you hear about like those women if fridge falls on the child and suddenly they have the strength of like...." shared Jenny.
Johnny Bananas jumped in and mentioned how mothers can have "superhuman" strength when it comes to protecting their children. Jenny agreed to that.
Further on the podcast, while discussing muscle memory and strength, Johnny mentioned how "muscles and endurance" don't go hand in hand:
"Generally the more muscle you have the less endurance you have and you're like this rare combination of like both," Said Johnny.
She replied that Cardio had "always been really" there and that she didn't know how she had done it. Jenny also mentioned winning the cross-country championship for running.
Further, on the podcast, the duo talked about Jenny's vaping and more incidents from The Challenge 40.
