Filming has started on Netflix's new psychological thriller series, Out of the Dust. The show boasts a talented cast, including Asa Butterfield from Sex Education and Molly Windsor from Three Girls. They play Adam and Rosie, a married couple living in a sheltered Christian community.
Out of the Dust was created by Julie Gearey, who is also the writer and executive producer of the show. Gearey is also working on another Netflix series, Saalsberg Sisters.
Out of the Dust is officially set to release six episodes. Iona Vrolyk and Myar Craig-Brown are executive producers for Double Dutch Productions, and Nick Pitt is also on board as a producer.

Netflix UK's new series "Out of the Dust" is a six-part psychological thriller, produced by Double Dutch Productions and follows Rosie, a devoted wife and mother, who begins to question her life after meeting Sam, an escaped convict.
As she starts to break free from her restrictive community, Rosie discovers her desires and sense of self. Filming has started in the UK this month.
Who is the cast of Out of the Dust?
Netflix has officially announced the five main actors for Out of the Dust.
1) Molly Windsor:
Molly Windsor plays Rosie, Adam's wife in the series. She's an English actress who became famous for her role in the 2017 BBC miniseries Three Girls, which earned her a 2018 BAFTA TV Award for Best Actress.
2) Asa Butterfield:
Asa Butterfield is set to play Adam, Rosie's husband. Butterfield is an English actor who first gained recognition after playing the lead in the historical drama film The Boy in Striped Pyjamas in 2008. You might also recognize him from his role as Otis in the popular Netflix comedy series Sex Education.
3) Christopher Eccleston:
Eccleston will star as Mr. Phillips. He received an International Emmy Award for his role in Accused back in 2010. You might know him from his roles as the 9th Doctor in Doctor Who or as Malekith in Thor: The Dark World.
4) Siobhan Finneran:
Finneran is set to play the character of Mrs Philips. She is an English actress, known for her work as Clare Cartwright in the popular British police show Happy Valley. You might also recognize her from Downton Abbey, where she played Sarah O'Brien in 25 episodes.
5) Fra Fee:
Fra Fee stars as Sam, an escaped prisoner who could be Rosie's way out of her secretive religious community. You might have seen him in Netflix's Rebel Moon, where he played Balisarius. He's also been in Disney+'s Hawkeye as Kazi and Les Misérables as Courfeyrac.
The plot of the show
The story is about a married couple, Rosie and Adam, who live with their daughter in a secluded Christian community. Their life changes when Sam, an escaped prisoner, shows up. Sam brings a fresh view to Rosie's world, making her see things differently and question the life she's been forced to live.
As Sam's influence grows, it exposes problems in Rosie and Adam's marriage, and Sam starts to win her trust. But Rosie must figure out if the real threat is Sam or the community she lives in.
Once released, Out of the Dust will be available for fans to stream on Netflix.
