She hinted at possibly returning for the next Tournament of Champions 7 before leaving the stage from the sixth season.

Tournament of Champions 6: Chef Britt Rescigno might return next year

The final episode of Tournament of Champions 6 saw Britt Rescigno's elimination. However, when leaving the stage area, she hinted at the potential of returning for the next season. Her parting words were "One day" before she hugged show host Guy Fieri and her opponent, Chef Antonia Lofaso.

"This is not the beginning of the end of Britt. This is just stocking the fire and throwing maybe a cup of gas on it," said the host.

Antonia agreed with him and said, "100%."

As Britt arrived backstage, she couldn't hold back her tears. She told the cameras it was "tough" and needed a second. Later, she confessed that elimination was the "hardest" thing. Even though she felt "like it," it didn't work out.

Before going into the semi-final battle against Antonia, Britt confessed to the cameras:

"One week...I get married. I've put my life on hold. I put the restaurant on hold to be here. Right here to win."

Earlier on Tournament of Champions 6, fans saw Chef Britt win against Chef Michael Reed. She also competed against Chef Kaleena Bliss in the quarter-finals and won.

At the time, Britt stated that it was her "year." She mentioned getting married, owning her restaurant, and:

"There's only one thing left...that belt. It's going to look really sweet to have that belt in the restaurant."

Tournament of Champions 6: Chef Britt Rescigno lost the semi-final challenge against Chef Antonia Lofaso

Before the semi-final round challenge against Chef Antonia Lofaso, Britt shared with the cameras:

"I mean, this is incredible. This is the matchup that I wanted going up against Antonia. She's (Antonia) wanted this since season one, unfortunately, I'm going to take her down."

For the fans who might not know, Britt Rescigno made the Final Four three years in a row. She stated that all three of the top four (Antonia Lofaso, Sara Bradley, and Lee Anne Wong) have worked for Michelin-star restaurants. They also either have won awards such as the James Beard or have been nominated for that, while she hadn't.

Britt was confident in herself. So she said it didn't matter that she had no prestigious award wins or nominations. However, after losing against Chef Antonia by one point, Britt was eliminated during the semi-final round.
