On Call is a gripping police procedural drama that revolves around two patrolling officers of the Long Beach Police Department. The show premiered on Prime Video on January 9, 2025.
The series marks Wolf Entertainment’s foray into streaming after ruling over network television with shows such as FBI: International, FBI: Most Wanted, Chicago Fire, Chicago P.D., Law & Order, and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
However, On Call is nothing like other procedural dramas because a significant portion of the show has been shot with hand-held camera, bodycam, and dashcam, which immerses the viewers completely into the world of the patrolling officers.
Prime Video follows a weekly schedule in releasing new episodes for some shows, while in other cases drops an entire season together. This had left fans speculating what pattern the streaming platform would follow for On Call. Read on to know about it.
