The Masked Singer Season 12 Finale aired on December 18, 2024, revealing the finalists' identities. Fans witnessed two finalists - Wasp and Buffalos during the show's finale. Both of them performed one last time before the results were announced.
As a result, Buffalos was revealed as a group of three singers - Boyz II Men boy band members and emerged as the winners. As for the runner-up position, the Wasp was revealed to be Mario Dewar Barrett, a pop star.

The Masked Singer Season 12 Finale episode featured two performances from each finalist. The Wasp performed:
- Bruno Mars's When I Was Your Man, and
- Whitney Housteon's I'm Your Baby Tonight.
In addition, The Wasp also performed another song, i.e., his signature song, Let Me Love You. It was performed after his identity was revealed.
On The Masked Singer Season 12 Finale, The Wasp also shared how he has been waiting to be recognized. He said he was finally getting what he had been craving for a long time.
"I feel like I'm constantly being overlooked at times, and like people still see me as that cute little kid with that song. They don't know the depths of my talent. Being here, I felt the opposite. I felt appreciated, validated, celebrated, and all anonymously," shared The Wasp.
Fans witnessed Mario Dewar Barrett coming out of the Wasp's costume during the show's finale.
Later, he revealed that he could feel his mom in the spirit. Out of four panelists, two guessed The Wasps' true identity. They were Rita Ora and Robin Thicke. Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg guessed The Wasp to be Jason Derulo and Ken Jeong thought it was Usher.
