When questioned if she loved her stepdad in an April 2025 appearance on "Casual Chaos with Gia Giudice," the 21-year-old didn't hold back.

"I mean, we're not even that close, so it's hard to… Like, like we don't ever hang out, we never talk," Sheen replied.

Elaborating:

"So yeah, I feel like that's a stretch. But if he makes her happy..."

In addition to her tense relationship with her father, Charlie Sheen, whom she hasn't spoken to in almost a year, her disclosure is part of a larger conversation about her complex family dynamics.

Denise Richards has previously called Phypers "amazing" with her girls, which contrasts sharply with Sami's attitude toward the guy who wed her mother in 2018 and who fans most recently saw on Bravo's Denise Richards & Her Wild Things.

The eldest daughter of Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen didn't hold back when discussing the reality of her blended family situation. While acknowledging that Phypers supports her mother's ventures, including her controversial OnlyFans content, Sami made it clear their relationship remains largely nonexistent.

"He helps her with all her content, so he's very sweet," she acknowledged during the podcast, showing that, despite their lack of connection, she recognizes his support of her mother.

The family shown on Denise Richards & Her Wild Things, where viewers may have expected greater peace behind the scenes, is confounded by this revelation.

The juxtaposition between Denise Richards' public remarks regarding Phypers' importance in their family and Sami's estranged connection with her stepfather is what makes it so fascinating. Richards gushed about her husband's paternal instincts during an appearance on "The Talk," in 2019.

"It wasn't even a decision. It just is. She's a sweetheart. I love her. I think of her as my own."

While Sami's relationship with her stepfather remains distant but civil, her connection with her biological father has deteriorated completely. She revealed that a nose surgery last year became the breaking point in their already strained relationship.

"I really got frustrated because it was when I got my nose surgery. I was really mad that he couldn't even like call me or anything to see if I made it out of surgery," Sami explained, adding that while the procedure wasn't "life or death," she expected basic parental support.

The situation escalated quickly.

"I've had him blocked for a minute now," she said.

Explaining:

"I had to block his email as well, and then he actually got a new number on Christmas to text me other crazy stuff where I had to block that number."

"Him and Lola are really close and he always goes over to hers," Sami noted, adding that her sister encourages reconciliation without understanding the full situation.

"My relationship with my dad has definitely improved. We started getting pedicures together every two or three weeks and that's our favorite thing to do together."
