Love is Blind: Germany Reunion: Jen and Marcel share their sides of what went wrong between the two after their engagement

Love is Blind: Germany co-host Stephanie Brungs mentioned an unaired scene between Marcel and Jen. It showed how things were'nt always "smooth sailing" between the couple after getting engaged.

"For out everyday life, I hope that I start wanting to be closer to him again and that everything turns out to be the way it was before," mentioned Jen.

Further in the clip, former Love is Blind: Germany couple was using an astrology app that showed how compatible they were on "various levels" with each other. After learning that they might be incompatible in terms of "s*x and aggression." Jen mentioned that they would have to work at understanding each other's "moods and emotions."

After witnessing the clip, the host mentioned how both Marcel and Jen had "different physical needs" and that became an issue for them. Marcel mentioned wanting to be "close physically" with his partner:

"One of the most important aspects of love for me is being close physically. It does so much for you in terms of bonding, the chemicals in your brain. I simply need that and that wasn't there. I've never felt such physical distance to any person I've ever met. It was rough."

On the other hand, Love is Blind: Germany star Jen mentioned they shared a bond in the pods. However, since they were together after getting engaged, there was "nothing." She mentioned it was "very hard" for her to "connect" with Marcel:

"That also made it hard for me to be close physically because I always felt pushed away verbally.....I just couldn't give in to that because I just had my guard up. I hope everybody takes care of themselves in such a way when they have the feeling that they're not accepted."

The female host then recalled one thing from the show, which Jen mentioned back then. It was about how Marcel was "in front of her," but still, "she missed him."

Marcel mentioned how Jen "puts up" her shields and felt how he could not "speak freely"; otherwise, it would be "taken personally." He then started to "withdraw" and communicated less.
