After a dramatic and heartbreaking elimination from Netflix's Battle Camp, Irina Solomonova, known for her appearance on Love is Blind, is finally opening up about her experience on the show. Irina returned to reality TV after becoming well-known on Love Is Blind Season 4. She shared that she hoped the new opportunity would reflect her growth since then. However, Battle Camp proved to be more cruel than she had anticipated, both emotionally and physically.

Despite trying to enter the show with a clean slate and a willingness to connect, Irina revealed in an exclusive interview with People Magazine that she experienced several raw, painful moments leading up to her departure. She opened up and said,

"Honestly, I was at a loss for words. I think it's truly everyone's fear — or mine for sure — is thinking that nobody likes you, nobody wants you here. Everyone went and voted you out behind your back while you were having a really incredibly hard, difficult day. I was so shocked."

Irina said that those words struck a deeper chord with her than viewers may have realized, comparing the experience to the bullying she endured in high school.

Though she admitted the elimination was painful, she said it gave her perspective. Although she acknowledged that processing the criticism has been challenging, she is actively focusing on improving her mental health and herself.

"I was really in my head, I was crying, I was in my room, I was reading all my notes from my family and friends and then finally I get out and I go change and stuff."

Irina first came to the attention of the public during Season 4 of Love Is Blind, when her failed engagement and mean-girl character received harsh criticism. She also acknowledged the backlash from her earlier reality TV appearance and shared her hopes to grow through these experiences.
