Noah Centineo recently had his hands full while simultaneously shooting for The Recruit and for a cameo appearance on XO, Kitty. As per a report by Deadline, Noah Centineo was slated to shoot for the second season of The Recruit in Korea. Incidentally, the filming for XO, Kitty was also supposed to commence on the same date in Korea. As the showrunners for the two shows worked out a window, Noah Centineo was able to execute both the shooting schedules with ease.

Noah Centineo plays the character of the novice CIA attorney Owen on The Recruit. On the other hand, he portrayed the leading character of Peter Kavinsky in To All The Boys I've Loved Before.

It is a known fact that both of these are diametrically opposite characters with different attires and contrasting hairstyles. Noah Centineo had to bring himself around to the mind space of these two diverse characters and with the help of the production team and the hairstylists on the two different productions, he was able to finish filming without a hitch.

Here's everything that we know.

Noah Centineo took up the challenge of filming The Recruit and XO, Kitty simultaneously

While speaking in an interview relating to The Recruit with Deadline, Noah Centineo revealed how his guest appearance in the second season of XO, Kitty came about. He stated:

"(All The Boys producer and XO, Kitty exec producer) Matt Kaplan and one of my friends over at Netflix called me and said, Hey, you’re going to be shooting in South Korea the same time that we are. Would you be interested in coming back for XO, Kitty? And I said, yeah, anything for Anna. I think Anna is just wonderful and hard working and super talented, just a professional, and she deserves the world."

He further added:

"It’s a daunting thing to go back to Peter to open that box; you don’t want to disappoint or let anyone down. The character is kind of what it is. But actually, it worked out. How could I say no?”

XO, Kitty showrunner opens up about Centinoe's cameo

Speaking in another interview with Deadline, Jessica O'Toole, the executive producer and showrunner of XO, Kitty shed light on the logistical arrangements that needed to be made to ensure that Centineo's cameo happened smoothly. She remarked:

"The Recruit was filming in Seoul, and there ended up being one day that he could shoot, and it happened to be our first day of shooting of the full season. He’s in a later episode, but we were like ‘Well, we’re gonna make this happen.’ He was so gracious and thrilled to do it.”

She then went on to add:

"It was really serendipitous, but at the same time, took a lot of legwork to make it happen. We’re prepping his episode, we’re writing scenes for that later, for a script that was for much later. We’re flying in the director. There were a lot of things that went into it. But then it ultimately was probably the best way we could have started the season. Having something that was really special like that, and just so fun. He brings such such an easy going and friendly and warm vibe everywhere. Getting to see them be so happy to work together and watch their magic and everything, it was a great way to start off the season."

The Recruit season two premieres on January 30 while XO, Kitty season two is available for streaming on Netflix.
