"No bite"- Belle Collective fans react to Sophia's rivalry with Selena

Belle Collective Season 5 has wrapped up and released the first part of the reunion episode on December 27, 2024, on Ophra Winfrey Network. The executive producer hosted the episode and the show's host, Carlos King, welcomed the entire cast of season 5 to rehash all the drama, conflict, and confrontation.

The show follows successful businesswomen from Mississippi who bring their southern Belle flavor to the show. This season, the cast included Belles Tambra Cherie, Marie Hamilton-Abston, Aikisha Holly-Colon, Lateshia Pearson, Latrice Rogers, and Sophia Williams. The season also witnessed Selena Johnson appearing in the show, which heated things a bit.

Selena and Sophia share a history as JJ, Sophia's husband is also an ex-husband of Selena. The season shows some emotional moments between the two, making the fans feel that they both have found peace. However, during the recent reunion episode, the two clashed again.

Carlos King, the host, pointed out that both of them have had some "comic relief" when they were not surrounded by JJ and other Belles but soon were "back at each other's throats". The fans of Belle Collective too had thoughts to share on their rivalry. Some fans felt that it was Sophia who was trying to pick up a conflict, adding to the drama between her, JJ, and Selena.

"Looking for healing"- Belle Collective star Selena Johnson opens up about joining season 5 of the show

During an interview with Blavity, Belle Collective's Selena Johnson opened up about joining season 5, especially after her physical altercation with Sophia last season. She mentioned that he wanted to maintain peace, and most importantly was looking for a normal environment around her daughters.

Selena was previously married to JJ, Sophia's now husband and the tussle between the three went ugly last season. So, this season, Selena was looking forward to maintaining a cordial relationship with both JJ and Sophia. She mentioned during the interview:

"I was looking for healing, looking for a solution, and just really wanting my family to get back on the same track. I want my girls to have that relationship they once had with their father. "

"I want their stepmother and them to have a better relationship. Family is very, very important to me. And for anything that involves my girls, I want them in a positive environment" she further added.
