Below Deck Mediterranean Season 9 onboard Chef Jono shared how he was hurt by Chief Stew Aesha Scott’s remarks on the recently released Below Deck Mediterranean After Show. Fans must remember the latest 13th episode of the show, in which Chef Jono prepared a different dessert dish, which the guests sent back.

When Captain Sandy learned of this, she wasn’t happy, and Chief Stew Aesha Scott also shared that the guests mentioned their dessert in the preference sheet, which Chef Jono felt was Aesha taking the guests’ side.

During the recently released After Show, Chef Jono revealed,

"I've thought about this so much, because I was really hurt ... Usually when you're a crew, you stick with the crew. You don't say 'I agree with the guests.' "

Below Deck Mediterranean After Show: Chef Jono’s recent "Dessert" issues continue

Below Deck Mediterranean Season 9 Episode 13, released on August 26, 2024, showcased how Chef Jono made a couple of mistakes and was called out by the Captain. Things got even more intense when Captain Sandy considered replacing the Chef after learning about his most recent mistakes.

One of the things that happened was Chef Jono prepared a Cookie Chocolate Cake Sandwich. However, according to the onboard guests’ preference sheets, Soufflés and Crème brûlées were mentioned for their anniversary dinner. After not getting their desired dessert, the guests returned the Cookie Chocolate Cake Sandwich.

Referring to the client preference sheets, Aesha mentioned it was "really disappointing." Aesha recalled that on the After Show and her conversation with Chef Jono,

"But it’s a cookie on their anniversary, and he’s like 'but it’s delicious.' "

On the other hand, Chef Jono could be seen on the After Show stating,

"I wish I had said, “Well, bi**h, why don’t you fu**king eat it like you do eat the other leftovers that come back from the guests” but I didn’t say that. I’ve thought about this so much because I was really hurt. ‘Cause we’d been working well, I liked her so much. Not that I don’t like her now; we’re still good friends, we’re messaging all the time."

He added that,

"Do whatever you normally do with leftovers coming from a table as you throw it away, you wash the plate but she chose to bring that to me, place it in front of me, and say, 'Actually I agree (with the guests)' and then walk away."

Chef Jono felt like Chief Stew was "attacking" him.

Aesha could also shed more light during the After Show, as she shared the relationship between the Stews and the Chefs. She called it "the most sensitive thing" and added that, after becoming the Chief Stew, "it all changes," and suddenly, the chefs are the ones with their "daggers pointed towards."
