The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On Season 3 is on Netflix now with its first five episodes. Season 3 is hosted by the famous couple Nick and Vanessa Lachey, who introduced the 6 couples to the process of the show in the very first episode. Episode 1 quickly moved from introducing the couples to declaring them as exes and sending them on a thrilling journey of speed dating.
During the speed dating process many "singles" bonded with each other on the basis of what they were looking for in a life partner. Zaina, who issued an ultimatum to his 3-year-long boyfriend J.R., was looking for someone who knew what he wanted in life and was ready to commit to marriage. She found Scotty attractive as he was one of the few guys who issued an ultimatum.
Scotty who joined the experiment with his girlfriend Aria, issued an ultimatum to her. He was attracted to Zaina as both shared a common thought process towards marriage and during their date, Scotty appreciated Zaina's style as well. In a confessional, he expressed her attraction towards Zaina by stating:
"Zaina epitomizes the term wifey material."

During the cocktail party in episode 1 of The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On, Scotty and Zaina were bonding over their shared sense of expectation from their life partner. Both opened up to each other about what they were lacking in their previous relationship. Scotty mentioned that he and Aria were not synced when it came to decision-making.
Zaina also expressed that she was not getting the type of commitment she was expecting from J.R., although the couple was living together before coming on the show. However, as soon as the two walked hand-in-hand to the bar, it bothered Aria, and soon she crashed Zaina and Scotty's date.
Aria came crying and urged Scotty that if he wanted to be physical, he should not do it in front of her. Scotty got annoyed by Aria "coming at her like that", and told her he was the one to issue the ultimatum, and he was trying to get her to marry him. However, the conversation turned into a heated argument and Aria walked out from there, claiming that she felt "gaslit" by Scotty's words.
