The Voice finalist Danny Joseph talks about the upcoming finale in an Instagram live
This Sunday, on Dec 8, Bita Milanian, Head of Communication at One Plant Group, went live with Danny Joseph from her account. During the live, The Voice finalist talks about how he got into music from an early age.
"My dad is a musician and he plays guitar. So he was my first influence. He bought me a guitar when I was seven years old. And we started playing along to the Beatles and, you know, Santana, Led Zeppelin, Elvis, just all that old stuff. He had a huge record collection. So from an early age, I was exposed to rock music, you know?"
He further talks about how grateful he is to be one of the final 5 on the show,
"So far, it's worked out very well. You know, you've gone as far as you've come, now to the final, which I am very thankful for. Thankful for the people voting for me on Tuesday...and Monday and Tuesday."
When asked how he felt about the finale coming up, Danny opens up and says,
"Yeah, I'm excited! You know, it's when you got the Instant Save You know it kinda means that you're fifth in the votes. So, you know... it's winning...it's gonna be a lot more difficult to win. You're gonna need way more votes to overtake the other four."
He added,
"So you know in a way, it takes some pressure off. All you can do is do your best and hopefully do a good performance and...you know, my wife and parents are gonna be there. Just do a performance that I can be proud of and you know...whatever's meant to be, will be."
The Voice finale is set to air on Dec 9 and Dec 10 on NBC at 8/c.
