Netflix’s popular social experiment Love is Blind UK premiered the show with the release of its first four episodes. A week later, the platform aired a second batch of episodes, including episodes 5 to 9, on August 14, 2024.
The fifth episode showcased how all the engaged couples met each other and had a good time by the beach. It included Sabrina and Steven, Maria and Tom, Demi and Ollie, Jasmine and Bobby, and Catherine and Freddie.
While they all knew about each other, at the same time, they were not sure what happened with their fellow participant, Nicole and Sam, who got engaged but didn’t join the couples during the next phase of the show. The engaged couples did not know that Nicole and Sam had broken up.
Additionally, Nicole met her former connection, Benaiah, and they eventually became engaged. During the show's fifth episode, when Nicole and Benaiah arrived, everyone was pleasantly surprised and happy about how things turned out.
After knowing about Nicole and Benaiah’s current status with each other, Love is Blind UK star Jasmine shared:
"We always knew it was Benaiah and Nicole. From day dot. It was just meant to be. So I’m super happy."

The fifth episode featured Nicole and Benaiah’s arrival among the other engaged couples on Love is Blind UK. When the participants saw Nicole and Benaiah walking hand-in-hand, everyone cheered and rushed towards them to hug them both.
Steven was the first to rush, cheering and screaming, towards Benaiah, while Ollie and the other male participants followed him. From the girls, Sabrina, who shared a close bond with Nicole since the early pod days, rushed towards her and everyone else after her.
Sabrina confessed that she didn’t even have the words to describe it.
"Having my girl Nicole here, like, that just came out of nowhere." shared Sabrina.
She also told Nicole to share everything that had happened. Jasmine shared that they always knew it was Benaiah and Nicole "from day dot." Everyone kept cheering and shouting as most of them had been rooting for Benaiah and Nicole, even though she was previously engaged with Sam on the show.
The episode further showcased both Nicole and Benaiah sharing how things unexpectedly unravelled, and, as a result, they were now a happily engaged couple.
