"Want more from you": Love After Lockup star Sam opens up to Krystal about his requirements

Love After Lockup Season 5's latest episode aired on December 27, 2024. The 53rd episode of the TLC reality show featured one of the couples, Krystal and Sam.

Sam went out for drinks with his friend Cameron and received a phone call from his wife, Krystal, who lives behind bars. While on the call, Sam was playing pool with his friend. He joked about "betting," which Krystal hoped he was "joking."

Later, during their phone conversation, the male participant opened up about being "s*xually frustrated."

"Well you know Krystal, how s*xually frustrated I am. And I know it feels like I am pressuring you at times, but I guess I want more from you."

Love After Lockup Episode 53: Sam and Krystal talk about their "real relationship" and more

During the latest episode of Love After Lockup, Sam received a phone call from Krystal and discussed various things. She wanted to "check" on Sam, so she called. He joked about betting his "whole cheque" on that pool game.

"I really hope that's a joke," said Krystal.

Sam agreed and said that it was a joke.

Krystal shared in her confessional:

"Within the past couple of months, Sam has been slacking when it comes to the money. I used to not to have ask him but I've had to start, you know, reminding him. When I need money, I need money."

She then talked about the "pair of Reeboks" that Sam recently bought for her.

"I like spoiling you. The money I spent on you is because I want you to have what those other b*tches don't," said Sam.

To which the female cast member replied:

"You think you spend a lot of money on me now, just wait until I get home. This is a fraction of what it's going to be like. All these other girls that have tricks... we have what they really want. A real relationship."

During their phone call, Krystal asked Sam if he had his ring on his finger. After Sam said yes, she told him not to bring "any girls" home.

The Love After Lockup participant shared about his s**ual "frustration" and told her that he wanted more, which Krystal refused. Sam said her refusal was also a "part of the frustration."

"Actually, you know what, if this is so much of an issue for you that you feel you need to do out there and have s*x, that's your decision to make."

After saying that, Krystal hung up the call. Sam shared in the confessional that it was "so frustrating" as he could not call her back or even leave an "angry voice mail."

Further on the episode, Sam revealed that the situation with Krystal was f****king crazy" in his mind.

"I could tell that you really love her. But do you ever feel like, maybe she's just using you," said Cameron.

Love After Lockup star Sam revealed that the thought had crossed his mind and that she likes to buy things. He said that, since meeting Krystal, he had spent around $100k. Cameron was shocked to learn about the number.

"That's a lot of f*cking money!" exclaimed Cameron.

Sam told the cameras that he had made his "blood sacrifice" and was "all in." He added that Krystal was his wife and he didn't want her to ask "some b*tch" for a pack of "f*cking noodles."
