Fans have wondered whether the Daredevil: Born Again protagonist will team up with the Avengers in their next adventure, and it looks like actor Charlie Cox, aka the Daredevil himself, is open to the idea.
When asked in a recent interview with Variety if he would be open to teaming up with the Avengers in their upcoming film Doomsday, Cox noted:
“I want to do it all, I love it all. So as long as they’ll have me, I’m there.”
With the next MCU film, Avenger: Doomsday, set to be released in 2026, fans were speculating whether Cox's Daredevil will feature there. And in another interview with ComicBook, the actor expressed his desire for his character to crossover with the Avengers:
“One of the things I’m acutely aware of is there are some really cool team-ups, and Daredevil plays a really interesting, pivotal role in some of the Avengers comics. For the sake of the character, I think that would be a wonderful moment…an homage to so much history.”

Daredevil: Born Again will see Cox reprising his Matt Murdock character
Daredevil, a popular Marvel Comics character, debuted on the small screen with the Netflix series in 2015. After its cancellation in 2016, it was revived by Disney+ with Daredevil: Born Again, which will premiere on March 4, 2025.
Cox played the character of Matt Murdock, a blind lawyer by day and a masked vigilante by night. Rumors about Cox's Daredevil appearing in Avengers: Doomsday were speculating around, and as mentioned above, the actor is open to the idea.
When asked to Deborah Ann Woll, who plays Karen Page, if she is open to the Daredevil cast popping in Doomsday, she noted (via Variety):
“The space madness gives me anxiety. I already feel like the middle schooler at the high school play. I’d like to stay contained where I can fool myself into thinking that we’re just doing this little show.”
While Woll seemed split, Cox is definitely ready to team up with the Avengers in their next adventure.
While Daredevil: Born Again was initially pitched to be different from its Netflix counterpart, showrunner Dario Scardapane confirmed that it will continue the legacy of the old show, but with a huge time jump (via Variety):
''...it’s definitely a continuation. We’re pulling [these characters] seven, eight years forward. It’s as much a different universe as it is when you grow up seven years, when we all go into the future. So it’s got all the DNA, all the history of the old show, but it’s taking us on a different ride.”
Daredevil: Born Again will premiere on Disney+ on March 4, 2025.
