“Very genuine”— The Voice finalist Sofronio Vasquez praises coach Michael Bublé

The Voice 26 has got its top five finalists who will be rocking the stage one more time with their live performances on the two-day finale nights. Michael Bublé, who debuted the season as a coach got lucky as he would have two artists from his team competing for the whopping prize money of $100,000 and a contract deal with Universal Music.

From Team Bublé Sofronio Vasquez and Shye made it through the Live Semi-Finals and advanced to the Live Finale which will take place on December 9 and 10.

The fans have thoroughly enjoyed the season, and could not get enough of both the artists from Team Bublé. However, both Vasquez and Shye credited Michale Bublé for being the "most supportive coach" they could have asked for.

In an interview with People magazine, both the finalists of The Voice 26 opened up about their experience of working with the debutant coach Michale Bublé. Sofronio Vasquez had some heartfelt insights about Michael and said:

"He [reached out] asking, 'Hey, are you okay? Are you prepared for tomorrow? Do you want some food?' He is very very genuine. He loves us."

Shye, another finalist from Team Bublé added to Vasquez's insights and said:

"Even though I get that sense with the other coaches, I feel like he communicates with us the most and he aides us the most. He's very there to hold your hand."

Sofronio Vasquez, who got saved by the audience's vote in the Live Semi-Finals round, performed If I Can Dream by Elvis Presley and made The Voice 26 coach Michael Bublé emotional. Vasquez himself got teary but controlled as he didn't want to appear "too emotional".

However, Michael did not shy away from lauding Vasquez and openly shared Vasquez's journey. He said:

"I think if people understood the strength that you have and the fact that through all of this adversity, you walk out here on a night like tonight when it probably matters more than anything has in your whole life career-wise. You walk out here in the moment and you take the brass ring and I'm just so happy for you."

Sofronio Vasquez talked about his Live performance and how Michael stood there like a constant source of encouragement for his team. Vasquez also admired his coach for "making me feel at home".


The Voice 26 fans can see Sofronio Vasque perform one last time in the Live Finals which will air on December 9 and 10 on NBC at 8 pm ET.
