Netflix's Selling Sunset Season 8 was released on September 6, 2024, and all the episodes aired on the premiere day. The show's second episode featured an important event called Broker's Open. It was an open house for a prestigious property located in Manhattan Beach, which many listing agents attended.

Fellow real estate agents Mary Fitzgerald and Chelsea Lazkani organized the broker open, assisted by their boss, Jason Oppenheim. A few guests and fellow agents also mentioned a few things regarding Chelsea's dress at the event.

Mary mentioned it to their bosses, Jason and Brett Oppenheim. Chelsea was not happy after learning of this.

"Tone down my outfit? My shirt and blazer? Really? I've had only compliments. You wear things that are low. I'm not wearing anything that's low," said Chelsea.

Selling Sunset: Chelsea's response to the comments about her "outfit" at the broker's open

Selling Sunset Season 8's second episode featured the broker open for the group's Manhattan Beach property. According to herself, during the event, fellow agent Chelsea Lazkani wore a "shirt and a blazer," which her fellow agents and boss thought otherwise.

"I've had a couple people come up to me and be like, "What is she (Chelsea) wearing?" You know, it's not professional. Like her - - her b**t and her hoo-ha is, like, out. That's our reputation too. I'm not a manager anymore. I'm not doing it. But I've had people come up to me, complaining about it," mentioned Mary.

Brett said that it was an issue. Soon, Chelsea came looking for flyers, and then he told her,

"I love you. But what do you think about toning the dress down 10% when we're at the broker's opening?"

Chelsea replied that she "doesn't really feel" that they should patrol what she wears. The twin brothers said they didn't like that either. Chelsea then asked what was inappropriate about her dress. Brett said he wasn't exactly sure.

Selling Sunset star then asked about her shirt and blazer, which Brett said he didn't think was the shirt and blazer. Mary also shared that some people mentioned how it might be inappropriate.

Seeing the conversation escalating at such a major event, Brett mentioned that it was a broker open at "a more conservative part" of LA, which Chelsea interrupted and said if it was their thought, then she could "tone down" her outfit.

Chelsea also told Mary she should not have raised such an issue in front of "two gentlemen," referring to the Oppenheim brothers.

Since Chelsea's arrival at the broker's open, several cast members shared their views on her outfit.

"If you walk into any McDonand's, you will see a very prominent sign that says, "No shirt, no shoes, no service." At no point did McDonand's executives ever think, "You know what? We should also add 'no pant' " 'cause it's f**king common sense. Wear your pants. Wear your pants! Wear your pants," shared Nicole Young.

Fellow Selling Sunset agent Emma complimented Chelsea and said she looked like "a dime," while Chrishell said, "gorgeous." Mary mentioned Chelsea's skirt was "really short," and Bre said her "a** was out" and that clients don't "wanna see that."
