According to an exclusive report by Deadline, a new cast member has been added to Amazon Prime Video's action thriller series The Terminal List Season 2.
The actor is none other than Yellowstone and 1883 alum, Martin Sensmeier, who will play the role of Sergeant Major Otaktay. The Deadline report described his character as:
''A proud and venerable warrior who cannot abide any abuse of power.''
Sensmeier had recurring roles in two of Taylor Sheridan's projects. He played Martin in Yellowstone Season 2 and Sam in its spin-off series, 1883 Season 1. He is also known for his roles in projects such as Westworld, 9 Bullets, La Brea, The Last Manhunt, and Rutherford Falls.
The actor is surely keeping himself busy. Along with The Terminal List Season 2, he also has many upcoming projects lined up, including Takeover, Ice Fall, Wind River: Rising, and The Isolate Thief.
While The Terminal List Season 2 release and plot details remain under wraps, it would be interesting to see Sensmeier's impact in the new season.
The Terminal List Season 2 was confirmed in 2023
Amazon Prime Video's action thriller series, based on Jack Carr's novels, debuted in July 2022. Following the show's positive reviews, it was soon renewed for Season 2 in February 2023.
The Terminal List Season 2 stars Chris Pratt as Lieutenant Commander James Reece, with the US Navy SEAL Team, whose team and combat deployments are ambushed while on a secret mission. Reece returns from the mission to his family, but as he settles into his normal life, he has fragmented memories and questions regarding his failed mission.
While he tries to piece together the truth, new evidence emerges. He discovers the sinister forces working against him and gears up to take revenge against them, based on his hit list.
The Season 2 will be based on Carr's book True Believer. Along with Pratt, the show also stars Taylor Kitsch, Constance Wu, Riley Keough, Jeanne Tripplehorn, and many more.
The Season 1 finale saw Reece finally learn the truth about his failed mission after confronting his former friend and CIA agent, Ben Edwards, who reveals the truth to him. While Reece finally found peace in the finale, it will be interesting to see his next adventure and what role Sensmeier's Sergeant Major Otaktay will play in the upcoming chapter.
The Terminal List Season 2 is currently under production and will likely be released in the latter half of 2025.
