Saturday Night Live recently aired a parody of The White Lotus Season 3 star Aimee Lou Wood, played by Sarah Sherman. The parody sketch of the star was a part of the April 12 episode of Saturday Night Live. Sarah Sherman played an imitation of Aimee Lou Wood's character Chelsea in The White Lotus.
The sketch was titled "The White Potus" and parodied several Trump family members through imitations of The White Lotus Season 3 characters. Several characters such as Timothy Ratliff, Parker Posey as well and the Ratliff brothers were portrayed along with Chelsea in this skit. Aimee Lou Wood, who plays Chelsea in the show, did not find her SNL parody funny and took to her Instagram to talk about how it made her feel.

The White Lotus star Aimee Lou Wood plays Chelsea in the series, and she was played by Sarah Sherman in the SNL parody. Sherman put on a very obvious set of fake teeth to play a parody of Chelsea on the skit.
Aimee Lou Wood took to her Instagram and said that she was not at all happy with the way SNL went about the skit. She went on to add that instead of being funny, the sketch crossed the line to being mean.
She wrote on her Instagram that:
"I did find the SNL thing mean and unfunny"
"Such a shame cuz I had such a great time watching it a couple weeks ago. Yes, take the piss for sure but that's what the show is about - but there must be a cleverer, more nuanced, less cheap way?"
Aimee Lou Wood also went on to add that she received a lot of support from people in her DMs who agreed that the rest of The White Lotus Season 3 characters were purely political, whereas hers was the only apolitical character portrayed explicitly to make fun of.
The actress shared many direct messages sent to her in which fans were extremely kind and supportive and agreed with Lou's perspective, adding that:
"Everyone else in that parody was a political figure who was being mocked. The only character who wasn't political was Chelsea, and they were clearly just taking the piss out of your appearance/accent which is....uncalled for!"
A few hours after The White Lotus Season 3 star Aimee Lou Wood put up stories on her Instagram criticizing the SNL parody, she put up another story saying that she was offered apologies from SNL without giving any details regarding said apology.
"I've has apologies from SNL"
