"The Summer I Turned Pretty" will wrap up with its third season on Amazon Prime Video. Although it was previously announced that there would be a Season 3, it has now been officially announced that it will be the final season of the series.
According to Amazon, the final season is scheduled to premiere in July, although an exact release date has not yet been announced. It will feature 11 episodes.
This decision isn't entirely surprising, as the series is adapted from the Jenny Han book trilogy of the same name, with each season aligning with one book from the trilogy. The show first premiered in 2022, followed by the release of Season 2 in 2023.

The Summer I Turned Pretty: The Story So Far
Belly, who has long had feelings for Conrad Fisher, arrives at Cousins Beach with a noticeable change—she appears more mature and confident. For the first time, both Conrad and his younger brother Jeremiah begin to see her in a new light.
As she becomes involved in a love triangle with the two siblings, she discovers that their mother, Susannah, is battling cancer. As the season wraps up, Belly and Conrad share a touching moment, while Susannah, encouraged by her sons, decides to seek treatment.
In the second season, Susannah's death shocks everyone, particularly Conrad, who becomes emotionally withdrawn. Although Belly and Conrad strive to maintain their relationship, his grief acts as a wall between them. On the flip side, Jeremiah, feeling overlooked in their connection, reignites his affection for Belly. Belly, Jeremiah, and their friends unite to save the Fisher Family's summer house from being sold. The season ends with Belly choosing Jeremiah, even though she still has feelings for Conrad, which tells us that we can expect an amazing season 3.
