The Last of Us star Bella Ramsey reveals an awkward situation on The Game of Thrones sets

While most of The Last of Us fans know Bella Ramsey as Ellie, they played a brave character in HBO's other successful show, Game of Thrones. Many knew Bella Ramsey as Lyanna Mormont, head of House Mormont, before they knew them as Ellie.

In a recent conversation with Interview magazine, Ramsey reunited with their Game of Thrones castmate, Kit Harrington, who played Jon Snow. Ramsey revealed an awkward incident that happened on set when they were filming Game of Thrones.

Bella Ramsey played Lyanna Stark from season six to season eight of the show. Their most redeeming work is not just on The Last of Us, but also in Game of Thrones as the determined lady of the Bear Islands.

Bella Ramsey asked Kit Harrington, who was taking their interview for Interview,

''I don’t know whether you remember this, but I remember it quite vividly and have some remorse for it now, but during that scene I was mouthing your lines to you.''

Kt Harrington says,

''Yes!''

Bella Ramsey goes on to explain the incident,

''Now I’m like, “Oh my gosh, how awful.” But at the time it came from a very innocent place of being like, “Kit’s struggling with his line and I know it, so let me just mouth it to him.”

Harrington does remember the moment they had shared years ago and says,

''I do remember you helping me out and it being quite humiliating. [Laughs] But yeah, thanks for that. I’ve probably chosen to forget it.''

Ramsey is not proud of their behavior all those years ago and proceeds to say,

''You’re welcome. No, I think I need to forget it, because that’s so annoying. Like, how annoying is that?''

Harrington assures them that there is nothing to be embarrassed about by saying,

''It wasn’t at all. If anything I was like, “Oh god, I’ve got to up my game. I came here not really being comfortable enough with my lines, in the arrogance of however old I was, thinking I’m just opposite some child. And then that child actor is wiping me off the screen.” Not that it’s a competition, but you’re like, “Oh, I’ve got a bit too comfortable in my Jon Snow-ness.”

But Ramsey understands why Harrington might have felt confident and did not see Bella as competition initially, and responds,

''You had six seasons of it by then, so fair enough.''
