The Hunting Party episode 8: The Strange Case of Denise Glenn
Denise Glenn is a serial killer from the NBC show who was a St. Louis University professor before she turned to killing. She was obsessed with the idea of the Nine Muses and consequently devised a chilling scheme where she would go about tracking the best and most qualified people from diverse fields and brutally murder them without mercy. This was manifested when she murdered a ballerina by slitting her throat and hanging her down in an elaborate dancing position.
The latest episode of the show depicted the narrative grappling with the aftermath of the explosion at the Pit, after which many convicted murderers managed to escape. Bex and Oliver are quickly called to action following the bizarre murder of a cellist on a park bench. The modus operandi of the murder is eerily similar to those committed earlier by Denise.
However, she couldn't have been responsible for this murder since she was locked up when it occurred. Additionally, the murder of the cellist involves certain procedures that reference Denise's victims, but this isn't public knowledge. While Bex and Oliver do their best to extract information from Denise, she cleverly continues to stall them.
The copy-cat killer is finally brought to justice
Furthermore, Bex, Oliver, and Shane finally unmask the identity of the new serial killer, who is revealed to be a man named Martin. It is also explained that he was among the prisoners who developed a fascination with Denise, and after the explosion, he was the one who rescued her.
He set out to complete Denise's unfinished plan to gather the Nine Muses and intended to kill a professor at Denise's former university. Fortunately for Bex and the other law enforcement officers, Martin was apprehended before he could inflict any harm and was sent back to jail.
