"That pierced my heart" - Love Is Blind Germany's Shella opens up about her breakup with Pascal 

Love Is Blind Germany witnessed Shella and Pascal's sad breakup in Crete, Greece, when the couple was on their honeymoon. Building a strong connection in the pods over their common interests and values, the couple quickly became each other's number one.

The couple got engaged in the pods and traveled to Crete along with other engaged couples for their honeymoon. However, Shella felt Pascal was being dismissive about her emotions. She was confused as in the pods, it was Shella who was having a hard time opening up, but did so, because Pascal brought that comfort to her.

In the reunion, Shella mentioned that she was heartbroken by Pascal's sudden announcement of the breakup. When the host, Stephanie Brungs, asked her about how strongly she felt for Pascal, Shella responded:

"I think people were able to tell that I was having a tough time expressing my feelings. With Pascal, I felt I could do it. That's why I picked him. And the fact that he wrote me a letter, I was like, okay, he is giving us a chance. He is taking the engagement seriously."

"Then you hear a statement like, 'I don't consider Shella my fiance,' that pierced my heart, honestly."

It was unfortunate to witness Shella heartbroken after the breakup with Pascal, but as the reunion of Love Is Blind Germany premiered, it seemed that Shella had found her closure. She rehashed how she felt about the breakup and her connection was with Pascal. She told the hosts, that she felt a deep connection, and therefore, the breakup came as a big blowup.

Pascal, on the other hand, explained his side. He mentioned that when they went on the honeymoon, he could not feel the connection that he felt in the pods. It was important for him to be honest because continuing the experiment without addressing his honest feelings would have hurt Shella more. He also added that:

"I am not the kind of guy who leaves his fiance standing at the altar."

He apologized to Shella for hurting her but assured her that she was his number one in the pods. Shella also burnt the old hatchet and thanked him for breaking up with her earlier. Love Is Blind Germany star, Shella said:

"You're a great guy, a great man, and I am sure that you'll find the right woman just like I'll find the right man someday."
