Shark Tank, an American business reality TV show that started in 2009 on ABC, brought unparalleled opportunities for budding entrepreneurs and famous investors to collaborate and provide a platform for the American dream to flourish. It has been over a decade since the show entertained the audience and allowed entrepreneurs to grow their businesses.

Mark Cuban has been one of the esteemed investors on the panel of Shark Tank since season 2. He joined the show as a guest judge but later grabbed a seat as a lead investor from Season 3. With the announcement of a new season, the viewers also got to know that season 16 would be the last season for the Dallas Mavericks owner.

However, Mark Cuban had always been motivated to do the show for a specific reason, which he shared during an interview with Duncan Robinson. For Mark, forging new opportunities via great ideas has been a working force. One factor that always motivated him was educating and growing young businesses and businesspersons through his skill and expertise.

During the interview, Mark revealed what pulled him most toward the reality TV series Shark Tank and said:

"It's more like teaching kids about business and letting kids know that the American dream is alive and that's why I do the show."

"I look for ideas"- Shark Tank's Investor Mark Cuban opens up about his Modus Operandi when looking for a great deal

Mark Cuban has carved out a space for himself in Shark Tank, and fans love him for his critical instincts and craving for new ideas while judging any product. His prior ventures earned him a significant reputation and wealth, making him the richest shark on the panel, as reported by Celebrity Net Worth.

However, for Mark Cuban, any deal is worth taking a shot at if the pitcher is not dabbling too much into the storytelling and shows clarity in their ideas. In an interview with People Magazine, while sharing his retirement news, he also spoke about his takeaway from the show and what attracts him. He said:

"I don't need to hear your backstory. Tell me about your business, and tell me why you are going to be successful. Tell me what's different about it. Tell me how you stand out. I look for ideas [where I'm] like, 'Damn, why didn't I think of that?'"

Shark Tank airs new episodes on Friday at 8.00 pm ET on ABC.
