The Voice Season 26 concluded with Team Bublé's Sofronio Vasquez as the winner. Apart from Sofronio, there was another finalist from the same team, Shye. While Sofronio won the reality show, Shye was the runner-up.

Fans praised the participants and their coach, Michael Bublé, for having both the winner and the runner-up from his team.

After the show's finale, the finalists, including Shye, Danny Joseph, and Jeremy Beloate, shared their plans. Shye, 18, shared that one piece of advice that she got from her coach was to "just be herself." Adding more to that, Shye revealed:

"I know that sounds cliche. But it really helps when I'm feeling nervous and he's just like, 'There's no need for that. You don't have to prove yourself. You've already done it since the Blinds.' I really feel like it allowed me to let go and lean into myself and lean into the song, feel the emotions that I'm feeling and not worry about the audience so much."

Talking about the runner-up position, Shye shared that she got "second-place ranking" and "support" from Michael Bublé and that "shifted her career ambitions." She shared that initially, she wasn't sure about making a career in music:

"Starting off in this competition, I didn't know if I wanted a music career. I was going to go into science. But now, I think that I've been given the courage to at least try."

The Voice Season 26 finalist added that she had planned to release an album and do her best to "express" herself. She discussed becoming an artist portraying "all different types of genres."
