Popular social experiment The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On's eighth episode featured Aria and Scotty, among other couples. Throughout the episode, the duo discussed how they have been since joining the show.

Aria and Scotty discussed how there have been many benefits because of the trial marriage. She referred to Scotty's trial marriage with Zaina as a "blessing." She also talked about how, because of the trial marriage, she and Scotty were in such a better place with each other.

"This has been such a blessing in disguise because I honestly feel like we would've hit a point that we probably would have broken up. Because we never were going to, like, actually see each other. I think you had to be in something else to really be better for me. To see you really just be so open in this experience, like, it feels like falling in love again," shared Aria.

While relaxing, the couple discussed how Scotty's trial marriage with Zaina had affected their relationship. Aria and Scotty shared where they were with each other after the trial marriage situation.

"I've seen the growth, and I don't know if I've said that to you. I see it and I can tell that you truly were invested in your first trial marriage, but I feel that you're super invested in this trial marriage, and I know it's because you see a future within this," shared Aria.

The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On cast member responded that he couldn't share things with Zaina during his trial marriage. He was referring to his relationship with Aria.

"It frustrated me that my own relationship was not able to achieve this synergy that I think we could have had but we didn't have. And I think I just didn't have the faith in you that I wanted you to have in me. And that is a large part of the reason that we are here now, where we are," shared Scotty.

While the couple lay side by side on their bed, holding hands, Aria said the trial marriage with Scotty was a "blessing in disguise." She said such because they might have broken up if trial marriage had not happened.

After hearing that, Scotty told Aria that it "really" meant a lot to him. The couple then hugged and expressed their love to each other.

Earlier in the episode, when The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On couple discussed how Zaina appreciated Scotty's decisions, he mentioned:

"Zaina talked about the fact that I have made good life decisions. It felt good to hear that validation because I feel like a lot of times, I don't get that validation from you."

Listening to that from her partner, Aria mentioned that she knew Scotty wanted validation, which he was getting from "other women" within the experiment. In The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On episode, Scotty added that they all gave their validation "without being asked."

Aria shared that she knew she had to be "better" about validating and appreciating him. She also told Scotty he didn't feel appreciated because she had always "critiqued" things.
