Apple TV's comedy-drama series, Shrinking, gets exciting filming updates from star Christa Miller (who plays the role of Liz, protagonist Jimmy Laird's neighbor). As per the latest updates on her Instagram handle, filming will reportedly begin next week with Pasadena and Altadena set as primary locations.
The first season of Shriking aired in 2023 with a star-studded cast comprising Jason Segel, Harrison Ford, and Jessica Williams. The official synopsis of Shrinking, per IMDB, reads:
"A grieving therapist starts to tell his clients exactly what he thinks. Ignoring his training and ethics, he finds himself making huge changes to people's lives - including his own."
The early production updates on Season 3, especially after an on-track second chapter, have left hopes high for fans and garnered quite some social media attention. Moreover, Miller recently shared filming details of the upcoming season on her socials, saying:
"Next week we start shooting Season 3 of Shrinking in Los Angeles, in the heart of Pasadena."
Shrinking Season 3 to soon go into production
As per Christa Miller's statements, Shrinking Season 3 filming will commence in the coming days. She mentioned that it brings the entire cast a "special moment" as they gear up for the next chapter. Moreover, she emphasized the loss inflicted by the "devastating fires" that raged all across L.A.
Miller also talked about the significance of supporting the communities that have suffered from the calamity. Her statements portrayed her love for the city "where the magic happens". Miller's exact words were:

Shrinking Season 2 finale had a tense yet compassionate ending where we see Jimmy (played by Jason Segel) saving Louis' life as the latter tries to kill himself by jumping right in front of a running train. The next chapter will supposedly explore the characters further as they venture on a journey of grief while trying to heal themselves from the deeply inflicted trauma.
Lead star, Jason Segel has worked as executive producer for Shrinking alongside showrunner Bill Lawrence. Cast member Brett Goldstein, who plays the role of Louis(a drunk driver who accidentally kills Jimmy's wife), has also major contribution to the production of Apple TV's comedy series.
The Bill Lawrence show has already done commendable work by bagging multiple Emmy nominations. Moreover, with a 94% score on Rotten Tomatoes and an amazing audience response, Shrinking has garnered quite some social media attention over the years. Now, the latest update from star Christa Miller has piqued the excitement among fans.
