The Severance team has come up with a unique promotion strategy for the upcoming second season. Series stars were seen locked in a glass cube at the Grand Central Station in New York City on January 14, 2025.
Five of the main actors of Apple TV+’s hit sci-fi series appeared at the subway station in their signature character looks, along with director and executive producer Ben Stiller. The stars were put on display inside a glass cube, which was set up like their fictional firm in the show, Lumon Industries.
While the commuters were surprised to see the cast at the station, the actors stayed in character and performed their office routine in their cubicles. The one-of-a-kind event was organized to promote Severance Season 2, which premieres January 17, 2025, on Apple TV+.

Severance cast members Adam Scott (who plays Mark Scout on the show), Zach Cherry (Dylan George), Britt Lower (Helly Riggs), Tramell Tillman (Seth Milchick), and Patricia Arquette (Harmony Cobel) popped up in the glass cube at the Grand Central Station on Tuesday, January 14, 2025.
The actors ignored the commuters and behaved as if they were busy working at Lumon Industries. Cubicles, desktops, and chairs were set up in the station, and the stars performed their character’s routine activities like working on the computer, drinking coffee, cleaning carpets, and practicing yoga.
Meanwhile, Ben Stiller clicked their pictures and recorded videos on his phone, as the subway riders looked on with curiosity. The performance started around 4:30 pm and lasted for two and a half hours.
Several fans lauded the effort and the unique marketing strategy, praising the cast on social media. Stiller later posted a picture from the event on X, featuring Adam Scott working on his desktop. “Grand Central right now,” he captioned the post.
