Hulu's legal drama Reasonable Doubt is coming back for season 3, and although the narrative will be ongoing, it will also acquaint audiences with a new character. Developed by Raamla Mohamed, it follows Jacqueline "Jax" Stewart, a sharp and fearless Los Angeles defense attorney.
She's most famous for dealing with difficult cases and bending the law to suit her clients. While Jax is literally a force to be reckoned with in court, she's not quite the same outside of it.
Similar to many other professionals, Jax faces many challenges such as coping with life after divorce and attempting to maintain work and family balance. On top of all this, she is also met with a client who further complicates matters in her life.
As seen in Reasonable Doubt Season 1, Jax takes on the case of a wealthy businessman Brayden Miller who's accused of murder and sexual assault. The season also dives into the attorney's past and follows her troubled marriage.
In the end, Jax finally wins the case but her personal life remains in chaos. The story then continues in the next season in which the attorney is tasked with saving her close friend Shanelle.
By the end of Season 2, more drama and complications arise and a new legal battle is sure to bring even more drama in Season 3. However, it's not just a new case but also a new character secured by Jack Reacher star Joseph Sikora.

Joseph Sikora joins Reasonable Doubt Season 3 as a lawyer
The entertainment industry's talented actor Joseph Sikora is the new lawyer in Reasonable Doubt Season 3. The Power star will be seen playing a lawyer named Bill Sterling, who's working alongside Jax.
While not much has been disclosed about Bill, his presence around Jax suggests he's going to be a key figure in her life. Reasonable Doubt Season 2 concluded with Toni Holley, the mother of Lewis’s deceased child filing a lawsuit against Jax and Lewis.
If Bill turns out to be one of Jax's allies, it might be possible that he will try to help Jax and Lewis get out of this situation. However, if he becomes a competitor then Jax needs to be careful. Fans will have to wait until the premiere of the third season to watch Jax and Bill working under the same roof.
As for the release date, Hulu is yet to confirm when the third chapter will be available to stream. It will not only bring back Emayatzy Corinealdi but also other cast members including McKinley Freeman, Tim Jo, Thaddeus J. Mixson, and Aderinsola Olabode.
