Netflix released Selling Sunset Season 8 on Friday, September 6, 2024. The real-estate drama series features real estate agents at The Oppenheim Group alongside their bosses, Brett and Jason Oppenheim.
The show's first episode featured Jason meeting Breana "Bre" Tiesi to discuss her possible return to the O group. When she mentioned a raise, Jason firmly declined but shared some great opportunities for Bre instead. She told Jason she wanted some time to think about it.
Later, during the second episode, Bre and fellow agent Chrishell Stause met for an ice bath, where the latter planned to discuss Bre's potential return to the office.
"I don’t know the current state of you and Chelsea, but I know I’m really hoping you come back into the office," shared Chrishell.
Selling Sunset Season 8 Episode 1: Jason tries to get Bre back to the O group
The Oppenheim Group's Jason Oppenheim asked Bre to meet him at an off-market listing property on Chalon Road featuring seven beds, nine baths, and 14,0000 sq. Ft. to chat about her potential return to the O group. The property where they met cost around $28,888,000 with $866,640 commission.
"I haven’t been back to Oppenheim Group since the opening party. And I think this is definitely a Jason tactic to reel me back in. Jason’s gonna need to do a lot more than bring me to an off-market listing. I’m gonna need a little more commission, Jason," confessed Bre.
Later, Jason arrived and told Bre he needed her back "selling houses" like that one, with a moss wall. Bre wanted Jason to increase her commission, but Jason declined and said she would get the "same split." However, he mentioned wanting Bre to work on some "significant" listings.
Selling Sunset star Bre said she needed time to process and that they should discuss the "Chelsea problem." Jason mentioned it as a "lose-lose" situation.
Selling Sunset Season 8 Episode 2: Chrishell and Bre's conversation
Selling Sunset Season 8 Episode 2 featured Bre coming to her fellow agent and her friend Chrishell Stause's house for an ice bath.
"Against my better judgment, I have agreed to let Bre bring some ice baths to my house. On a scale of one to ten, my excitement would be negative zero, like the ice bath temperature," confessed Chrishell.
Chrishell also confessed that her plan for the day was to "maybe" talk Bre into returning to the office. They then had an ice bath and got into the hot tub, where they spoke more about the subject.
Chrishell told Bre she wanted Bre to return to the office despite not knowing the dynamics between her and fellow agent Chelsea. Bre replied that she wouldn't put a "lot of faith" in it and wouldn't bet "on that one."
"I’ve seen Chelsea in a few social settings, I guess, and it seems like she’s attempting to be nice, but I’m not falling for that, so…..but we’re not kiki-ing anytime soon, ever," confessed Selling Sunset star Bre.
Later in the second episode, Bre visited a work event, "Mary and Chelsea's Broker's Open," which might indicate Bre's possible return to the office.
