Netflix recently aired Selling Sunset Season 8 on September 6, 2024. The first episode of the eighth season, The Girls Are Back In Town, featured fellow real estate agents Mary Fitzgerald and Chelsea Lazkani, who were interested in pitching for a new property listing. Along with them was the newly joined realtor Alanna Gold.
Later on in the show, the second episode featured Chelsea and Mary, who the client chose to handle their property for the upcoming sale. While inviting various listing agents for the upcoming event - "Broker's Open," Chelsea shared how she was excited about getting such a massive listing,
"I could have done that listing by myself. It’s neither here nor there. I don’t know, but I’m still really excited about this house nonetheless, and I won’t allow her to steal this excitement from me because we work hard to get listings like this."
Selling Sunset Season 8: Chelsea Lazkani working with Mary Fitzgerald on a property and the "Broker's Open"
The Selling Sunset Season 8 Episode 1 featured one of the Oppenheim group's "important" clients, Jeff, visiting the office for his Manhattan Beach listing. He mentioned the 1st Street Manhattan Beach House as "very advanced" with Tesla charging batteries, and the listed price was $29,900,000.
Jason mentioned that he would send some of the agents to Jeff's home, and then he could decide who would be working on the house along with Jason.
Later in the episode, Mary, Chelsea, and Alanna pitched their ideas to homeowner Jeff and his wife, Jamie. They wanted Chelsea and Mary both to work on their property listing. Regarding the client's decision, Jason called Chelsea and Mary on a conference call and broke the news.
"So, Jeff and Jamie called me just a few minutes ago. They said, "We really wanna work with Mary." And they said, "We also really wanna work with Chelsea." "
Chelsea said she didn't want to "share," while Mary wanted to know "more details" about it. Jason asked whether the two could work together on this listing.
Later in Episode 2, Chelsea and fellow real estate agent Emma went to Manhattan Beach to invite Brett, a listing agent in the area, to invite him to the broker's open for Jeff's property. While enjoying the sunset, Emma asked Chelsea how she felt about working with Mary.
Selling Sunset star revealed that she could have done that listing herself and was "really excited" about it. Emma agreed and told Chelsea not to let anyone ruin her happiness and success. Chelsea mentioned that she was happy to even "have this listing," which is fantastic.
