Ahead of The Voice Season 26 finale, two semi-finalists, Sydney Sterlace and Jan Dan, appeared for an interview with Give Me My Remote on December 3, 2024. Both of them belong to Gwen Stefani's Team Gwen. The participants expressed feeling "pressure" and having "limited time" to memorize everything before their performances.

Sydney Sterlace, the 15-year-old singer from the singing competition, revealed how the "Live Shows" have been quite "fast-paced" as she said:

"So there was a lot more pressure for this round because you have limited time to memorize everything and get it the best way that you want it to be. But we also get. A lot of love and help here and everyone in the voice. All the producers and everyone and all the vocal coaches are really encouraging."

The Voice Season 26: Sydney Sterlace and Jan Dan opened up about their experience on the show

During their interview with the Give Me My Remote, the participants shared about challenges and how the show has been for them since the beginning. Regarding their The Voice Season 26 Live Show round, Jan Dan revealed:

"It felt nerve wrecking, but it also felt like amazing and it just solidifies that this is what I want to do. Like it was the moment like 'I want to do this', 'I want to grow on this', and 'I want to get better at this'. But it was like a full circle moment."

In addition, The Voice Season 26 finalist Sydney Sterlace opened up and shared that she was "a little more" nervous during the live shows. Compared with the previous rounds, she felt she performed her best despite being nervous.

Jan Dan also talked about not having enough time to memorize the lyrics for the Live Round. He mentioned feeling "crunched" before the performance.

"I was going through coming up out of a cold. So I was stressing out a little bit, but we came through that," shared Jan Dan.

On the other hand, Sterlace mentioned that she was going "day by day" and seeing how things unraveled further. The artist also mentioned that she focused on the "present" and did not consider the reality show's finale.

During the Semi-Finals, Sydney Sterlace was chosen as one of the Top five contestants and became a finalist. She will soon give her last performance on the reality show during the show's finale.

The singing reality show, hosted by Carson Daly, features coaches including Reba McEntire, Snoop Dogg, Gwen Stefani, and Michael Bublé.
