Fans of the hit Hulu comedy series Ramy can finally rejoice as creator and star Ramy Youssef gave a hopeful, positive update on Season 4. The series first made its way to the screen in April 2019.
In an interview with Screen Rant on the Happy Family USA red carpet, Youssef gave a promising update about the future of the show:
''Yes. We're hoping to do another season at some point—I just don't know when. But we're hoping, for sure.''
While Youssef's comments do not indicate that the new season is in the works immediately, they do give hope to its fans, who have been eagerly awaiting an update for two years.
Youssef's comments also indicate that the show is hopefully not over yet. There is potential for the show's future, and fans might soon get an update on the upcoming season. Considering that Season 3 debuted in 2022, Youssef's update seems promising that fans will get more of the show, although they might have to wait a bit.

Youssef updates that Ramy will hopefully return for another season
Ramy, which debuted on Hulu in May 2019, is a comedy-drama series that follows the story of an American Muslim in New Jersey. The official logline for the show reads as follows:
"A first-generation American Muslim who is on a spiritual journey in his politically divided New Jersey neighborhood. It explores the challenges of what it is like being caught between an Egyptian community that thinks life is a moral test, and a generation that thinks life has no consequences."
The show ran for three seasons and was a critical hit, with the third season getting a 90% score on Rotten Tomatoes. Youssef stars as Ramy Hassan, a millennial Muslim navigating faith and family in New Jersey.
In 2019, the show won him a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Television Series Musical or Comedy. He was also nominated for two Primetime Emmy Awards for Best Director and Lead in a Comedy Series.
While Youssef's comments are noncommittal at the moment, there is scope for Season 4 after the Season 3 finale.
The Season 3 finale saw Hassan discovering that he has a baby daughter with Zainab, which hints at the couple's reconciliation in the future seasons. The upcoming season will likely explore Hassan's redemption arc after he went into a downward spiral in the previous season.
The show also stars May Calamawy, Hiam Abbass, Mohammed Amir, Dave Merheje, and Amr Waked, and is available to watch on Hulu.
