Ralph Macchio's comeback in Karate Kid: Legends is one of the highlights of the highly anticipated movie. The actor, mostly known for his role in Cobra Kai as Daniel LaRusso, appeared in the series for the last time as it slowly came to an end.

However, Macchio isn't all that unwilling to return to the screens again as LaRusso, as the actor expressed his willingness to reprise his role again. Speaking to NME, Macchio talked about the possibility of returning on-screen and where the stakes are when it comes to that decision.

"Listen, I said it was the end for me when I got done with the last 1980s Karate Kid movie. So I will say never say never. If Karate Kid: Legends does well, I would love to see a Cobra Kai movie in two or three years.

Ralph Macchio continued,

As long as there's a way to be truthful to the characters, to propel a story in a way that opens it up to generations, it's something I’d be open to having a conversation about."

The audience will see him appear in Karate Kids: Legends alongside martial arts legend Jackie Chan's Mr. Han as they guide the new karate kid Li Fong. The film is set to release on Netflix on 30 May, 2025.
