The finale of Dancing with the Stars went live on ABC on November 26, 2024, and it was nothing short of a mesmerizing performance. All five finalists got on the stage one last time to showcase their talent before the world.
The finalists of Dancing with the Stars included Ilona Maher and Alan Bersten, Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson, Chandler Kinney and Brandon Armstrong, Danny Amendola and Witney Carson, and Stephen Nedoroscik and Rylee Arnold.
All the contestants performed in two rounds, a 'redemption round' and a 'freestyle round'. Stephen and Rylee picked a Quickstep on "I'll Be There For You" by The Rembrandts and performed a freestyle on Coldplay's "Viva La Vida".

Stephen and Rylee's freestyle performance mesmerized all the judges and the audience. Right after their dance, one of the judges, Bruno Tonioli praised the two and said,
"I am telling you what I loved about it. It was athletic and artistic at the same time, a perfect combination. Extremely lyrical moment, very emotional, beautiful blend. It really was, like the song, a contemporary anthem."
Carrie Ann Inaba further added,
I just...I...I... I don't think...I don't want this season to end. I really don't. I really don't want this to be the last time I get to experience this joy, that artistry, watching you become a dancer and Rylee now, you are a gymnast. What's going on? That was amazing and you have touched all the perfect points."
Derek was the one to wrap up the compliments by saying,
"I remember watching you on TV during the Olympics and thinking, 'Man I think he will be great on Dancing with the Stars and here we are, in the finale, with that incredible freestyle. The song, the concept, the choreography, the team effort, that...I'm gonna get emotional. I loved it! I loved it!
Stephen and Rylee also commented on each other's partnership. Stephen started by saying,
"I mean I just appreciate everything that Rylee has done. I mean I am not good at dance. I am not a natural dancer but she has made me do it...just amazing! I really appreciate her."
The couple ended with their first perfect score of 30 from the judges after their wonderful performance.
