The 32-year-old American-French actress Pauline Chalamet was pregnant during the filming of The Sex Lives of College Girls Season 3 per Entertainment Weekly. Chalamet has played one of the lead roles (Kimberly) in the Max comedy series, and she was joined by reprising co-stars Alyah Chanelle Scott and Amrit Kaur in the third season.
Per Entertainment Weekly, Chalamet's pregnancy did not cause delays in the production, and everything went as scheduled. According to a statement by the lead star, Mindy Kaling was among the first to know about her pregnancy. Pauline added that her co-employees were supportive throughout the process and helped her keep the whole thing a secret, per reports.

As Kaur mentioned on Entertainment Weekly, she often asked Pauline if she had any cravings in front of the entire team. The other cast members would then try to deviate the conversation in another direction. All of them laughed the whole thing off while on their This or That: College Edition game on Entertainment Weekly.
Star Amrti Kaur reportedly said in a statement:
"I was awful. I just say what I'm thinking."
What did Pauline Chalamet say about her pregnancy?
Pauline further opened up about her pregnancy on The Drew Barrymore Show, saying:
"I think Mindy Kaling wwas one of the first people to know I was pregnant. I called her. I was like, ‘Ok, we’re about to start filming and, surprise’ and she was, I mean, you were just so supportive and had the best advice because also she’s just, Mindy does it all."
Pauline added:
"So she was like, ‘Yeah, ok, no problem. And this is how we’ll handle it.’ And everyone was so supportive. I was like, you know, a little, like, oh, a college girl and all this stuff and, and I was like, you know what? It’s, this is my job and it’s so much fun to, like, be on set and, like, playing this college girl and I think they really pulled it off."
The Sex Lives of College Girls Season 3 had its premiere on November 21, 2024. There will be 10 episodes in the new installment, and each releases on Thursdays. The show is currently available on Max.
