Paramount Plus drops new trailer for Harrison Ford's 1923 Season 2

The much-awaited trailer for the 1923 Season 2 has come out and will serve as the conclusion to the story of the Dutton family in the 1920s. Bringing back Jacob (Harrison Ford) and Cara Dutton (Helen Mirren), the trailer reveals the titular family facing enemies to protect their legacy.

The 1923 Season 2 serves as the bridge between Yellowstone and 1883. As seen in the trailer, the Duttons are concerned about their land in the ice-cold weather, as Cara says "This is a hard winter, I pray Spencer can get here", while their enemies are planning to build an army and take the iconic ranch from its owners.

In the Season 1 finale, Spencer Dutton (Brandon Sklenar) got separated from his wife, and now his entire family is in danger. He must leave no stone unturned to reach Montana on time and protect the Yellowstone ranch.

While talking about 1923 Season 2, Brandon Sklenar shed light on his character and teased:

"He definitely encounters some strong resistance at pretty much every turn, and he deals with that the way he knows best."

He continued:

"I can say that it’s definitely a lot of fun, as an actor, in playing him to finally take him to those places in the second season... I think people are really going to enjoy it, because I definitely did."

The trailer sees him facing considerable resistance during his attempt to reach Montana. However, the actor also teased Spencer's character growth while also highlighting the challenges.

Taylor Sheridan's Yellowstone introduced fans to the fictional Dutton family in 2018, and since then the series has touched many hearts. While the flagship series seems to have ended with a satisfying conclusion, Sheridan continues to expand the universe with spin-offs and prequels like the 1923 series.

It's been a few hours since the trailer for Season 2 was released by Paramount and shows Jacob and Cara fighting for the land. Despite the harsh weather, the couple won't give up and step into action.

As Cara says "Anything worth having is worth fighting for", and prepares herself with a gun, ready to eliminate the ones who wish to take over the ranch. Meanwhile, Alexandra (Julia Schlaepfer) is also navigating the dangers in her journey to reunite with Spencer.

So, get ready for 1923 Season 2 as the only option left with the Duttons is to "Defend or Die". Harrison Ford's Jacob is also out to destroy the plan of their enemies, who wish to make Montana, a playground for the elite.
