The female participant opened up about her childhood trauma. She discussed how she was bullied. Referring to that clip, James shared,

Fellow 90 Day Fiancé: The Last Resort cast members Sophie and Julia also saw the clip containing Natalie's therapy session with James where she talked about being bullied. In the clip, Natalie mentioned that it took her "a while" to build healthy friendships.

After witnessing Natalie's therapy session clip, Sophie told the cameras that even though Natalie was bullied during her childhood:

"You can't go around being a f*cked up person and saying, "Well, I was bullied." Twenty years ago, whenever she was in school, like literally like being bullied as a kid doesn't give you an excuse to be a b*tch to people. Like you threw a drink at me, you called me all these f*cking names, and now you want to victimize yourself."

Fellow 90 Day Fiancé: The Last Resort star Julia agreed with Sophie.

Further, in the fifth episode, Sophie shared that Natalie's behavior had "nothing to do" with being bullied at school. She just found something to say and that it was an "excuse."

In the clip, Natalie continued,

"I'm a human. I made a mistake. But I'm willing to admit and keep going."

James told Natalie that there was "more work" that was supposed to be done. Referring to how Natalie opened up about her childhood and being bullied, James called it a "great first step."

As the clip ended, James told the cameras:

"I have to admit. I really saw her (Natalie) in a different light. For therapists, we call it a kind of atonement, and I saw her past. From bullying to family dynamics that can contribute to where she's getting into arguments, whether it's with Josh or other women in the group."

90 Day Fiancé: The Last Resort's James added that seeing Natalie opening up during the session gave him a "deeper understanding" of how Natalie "kind of walks" through life "in some ways."
