The Challenge 40 finalist Tori Deal recently appeared on fellow finalist Johnny Bananas's podcast on December 21, 2024. During the podcast, the participants discussed various things and chimed in on different incidents from the show.
One of the discussions was about how Tori has been managing her mental health and keeping up with the peace. Johnny Bananas asked Tori a few questions. While answering them, the female cast member commented that she is not a "servant" of the game.
Referring to how if the show becomes "triggering," Tori also knows how to handle that, as she mentioned:
"For example, if its the show, I know now I am not a servant to this game. I have to protect my peace at all costs, and that means I need to take a season or two off. So that's what I am gonna do."

Recently, on December 21, 2024, Tori Deal appeared on The Challenge 40: Battle of the Eras' Podcast with Tori on Death, Texas, and Bananas podcast. Fellow competitor Johnny Bananas serves as the host of the podcast.
Johnny mentioned how Tori has received much "positive feedback" on her journey. The fan question as:
"Tori you have seem to have, you've done a lot of work to keep yourself happy and calm recently. When you feel things are starting to get on top of her, what is the go-to help for you to get back on track?"
Before Tori answered the question, the podcast host mentioned how she has been "completely off" the meds. For that, he appreciated the female participant.
"Yes I am off anti-depressant after two and a hald years and I am so thankful, I think the one thing that has helped me keep calm is like truly disconnecting from the chaos of whatever is triggering me."
Further, Tori mentioned that if the show feels "triggering," she knows how to handle it. She expressed that she has realized she is not a "servant" to the game, so she must protect her peace "at all costs."
Tori also mentioned needing "a season or two" off after The Challenge 40 finale ends.
